Harbour Centre Development Limited (stock code: 51) is a listed subsidiary of The Wharf (Holdings) Limited (stock code: 4). It is mainly engaged in property development and investment business in Hong Kong and the Mainland. It also owns the Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel in Hong Kong.
China Projects
The Company remains enthusiastic about the fundamental outlook for the real estate market in China. As at the end of June 2009, the Company's total attributable developable area in China was about 26 million square feet in a total of four cities - Changzhou, Chongqing, Shanghai and Suzhou. The new projects underway in China are expected to generate a satisfactory return to the Company in the coming years.
